In this printable activity, the child draws the mirror image of the drawings across the axis. The child can then color the drawings.

Two versions are included:

• With dotted lines: The child traces along the dotted lines to develop fine motor skills, learn to draw, and be introduced to the concept of symmetry.

• Without dotted lines: This version is much more challenging, as the child freely draws the image symmetrical to the axis. This requires a good deal of visualization on their part, as well as an understanding of symmetry.
